A Canadian based in Berlin I work across a range of mediums but primarily in podcasting, radio and print. I'm interested in issues of sustainability, politics, arts, and society at large. My most extensive work is in conducting in-depth interviews with leading thinkers, artists, journalists, from Ira Glass and Wim Wenders to Elizabeth Kolbert, and in crafting sonically-rich podcast stories. In addition to my own work, I've contributed pieces to 99% Invisible and PRI's The World.
The project I'm currently primarily focused on is The Elephant, a podcast series funded by the CKAA exploring the stories, challenges, issues, and ideas related to climate change.
My writing has been published by The Globe & Mail, The Walrus, and I contribute regularly to the Berlin cultural magazine Exberliner.
When I'm not listening to podcasts, making radio myself or working on creative projects, there's a good chance you can find me riding my bike around Berlin, enjoying life lakeside, or exploring the waterways of Berlin with friends by inflatable boat.
